We are proud to announce that Kees de Vries, former director of Koninklijke Schuttevaer is available from today as a subsidy advisor for greening projects. Concordia Damen expects an intensification of the hydrogen and/or battery projects the coming yeas and is in this way responding to this development.

Kees knows the inland shipping sector inside out and has been involved in a number of innovative shipbuilding projects in the past years. Including the newbuild hydrogen vessel ‘Antonie’ (WEVA).

He works closely with NPRC and has many connections in the inland shipping sector. Kees operates as a connector between entrepreneurs and the government. In addition, he has a lot of know-how in the field of hydrogen, batteries, alternative fuels and techniques that are seen as the key to a sustainable future for inland shipping.
