Designed with the needs of passengers, crew, and operators in mind, the Excellence Crown offers smooth sailing, low emissions, and reliable performance – even during low water levels.

This is the first hybrid cruiser in the fleet of Twerenbold, which was the explicit wish of the Swiss family-owned company. With a hybrid drive concept, an optimised hull, low water resistance, a track pilot system, and other measures, the ship is said to be ‘the most climate-friendly cruise ship on Europe’s waterways’.

In addition to the attention that has gone into passenger and crew comfort, other striking features are solar modules along the railing convert sunlight into electrical energy, stored by a high-performance battery, and state-of-the-art heat exchangers.
